FÁILTE - WELCOME
"Our Lady", Star Of The Sea Church, built in 1896 on the highest point of ground in the area as was the case with a lot of Churches of that era. It boasts beautiful Stained Glass Windows throughout, depicting several saints and various scenes from the bible. (See Photos).
The Presbytery, next door to the Church, is surrounded by an exquisitely colourful, shrubbed and planted, yet uncomplicated garden, and attracts quite a number of wedding couples from outside the parish, even from outside the country - not to mention the locals.
The scenery outside can only be described as 'stunning', with an uninterupted view stretching from Hook Head, about 10 miles to the South, all the way up to, and beyond, Ballyhack/ Passage East, about 6/7 miles to the North.
We have Mass every weekday morning (except Monday) and of course the vigil Mass on Saturday, two Masses on Sunday and the usual Masses and other Services at appropriate times of the year (see tabs at left hand side of the page).
